WESTERN SINGH FOUNDATION Presents
Topic: BULLYING IN SCHOOLS


This
event is organized to educate and explore different areas of
Sikh/Indian community culture in California/United States. Besides, this
event provides an opportunity to bring together all around central
valley the law enforcement community, administration officials,
non-profit executives, and other cultures to network and learn from each
other.

Speaker:
Jaspreet Kaur, Community Organizer, Jakara Movement

Awards:
Acknowledgment
of the community members for their hard work who spend their time for
the betterment of the community is an important part of this event. So
there shall be awards presented for Community Organizer of the Year and
Non-Profit of the Year.

Scholarships:
Scholarships shall
be distributed to local school students who overcame struggles in their
life without sacrificing their education in the process. These
scholarships shall serve as a token of appreciation and support for
their efforts.

Items of Interest:
Delicious Indian cuisine for lunch.

Communities Invited:
Stanislaus
County, San Joaquin County, Merced County, Madera County, and Fresno
County elected officials including Sheriffs, Police Chiefs, Mayors,
Councilmembers, community education advocates, non-profit executives,
and other dignitaries.
